Working with Angelica Henry Design, Tigrett Agency produced a series of cinematic portfolio films showcasing two of the firm’s beautifully designed residential projects. Rather than creating traditional real estate-style walkthroughs, we set out to tell the stories behind the finished spaces—giving viewers a deeper understanding of not only what they were seeing, but why each design decision was made.

Telling the Story Behind the Space

01
// The Challenge

Going Beyond the Walkthrough.

Interior design is inherently visual. But capturing a beautiful room on camera is only part of the story.

The details that make a home exceptional—the relationship between materials, the flow from one space to another, the balance of texture and color, and the hundreds of decisions made throughout the design process—aren’t always obvious to someone seeing the finished project for the first time.

Angelica Henry Design needed portfolio content capable of communicating the depth of thought behind the work.

The goal wasn’t simply to document two completed homes. It was to create films that allowed prospective clients to experience the projects through the eyes of the designer and understand the intention behind the spaces.

02
// The Solution

Turning Interior Design Into Visual Storytelling.

We approached each home as its own story.

Through cinematic video production and intentional storytelling, we created two portfolio films that combined beautifully composed footage of the finished spaces with the story of how they came together.

Instead of moving room by room and simply showcasing the architecture, we focused on the details that revealed the personality of each project. Camera movement, composition, pacing, interviews, and music were used together to guide viewers through the homes while Angelica provided context around the creative decisions that shaped them.

The result transformed each project from a visual portfolio piece into something more powerful: a window into the Angelica Henry Design process.

Cinematically Capturing the Details
Great interior design is experienced at multiple scales.

There is the immediate impact of walking into a room, but there are also the smaller moments—the texture of a material, the way light interacts with a surface, the relationship between furnishings and architecture, or a subtle detail that ties an entire space together.

Our cinematography was designed to capture both.

Wide compositions established the scale and flow of the homes, while tighter shots revealed the craftsmanship, materials, textures, and finishing details that made each project distinctive.

Intentional camera movement created a sense of exploration, allowing viewers to experience the homes naturally rather than simply observe a collection of disconnected rooms.

Giving the Designer a Voice
One of the most important elements was allowing Angelica to tell the story herself.

Her perspective gave meaning to what viewers were seeing on screen.

Rather than leaving the audience to interpret the finished design from visuals alone, the narrative provided insight into the reasoning behind key decisions and the thought process that transformed an initial vision into a completed home.

This combination of cinematic visuals and first-person storytelling allowed the films to showcase something a traditional project gallery cannot: how Angelica Henry Design thinks.

For a prospective client, that insight into the process can be just as important as seeing the finished work.

Expanding the Story
Bringing the Builder and Homeowners Into the Conversation.

For the second film, we had an opportunity to take the storytelling one step further.

In addition to Angelica’s perspective, we incorporated interviews with the project’s general contractor Peak One Builders and the homeowners themselves.

Each voice added a different dimension to the story.

Mike from Peak One provided insight into the collaboration and execution required to bring the design vision to life, while the homeowners were able to speak directly to their experience working with Angelica and ultimately living in the finished home.

Together, these perspectives turned the film into more than a portfolio showcase.

The project itself demonstrated the quality of the work. The interviews demonstrated the quality of the experience.

By allowing the designer, builder, and client to tell different sides of the same story, the film became a powerful piece of social proof—showing prospective clients not only what Angelica Henry Design can create, but what it is like to collaborate with the team throughout the process.
